GTA 5 PC Release Date Rumors For March 2014 False? Norwegian Retailer Cancels Pre-Order Message For Computer Version

The Norwegian website that listed pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto 5's PC version slated for March 18, 2014 has pulled their advertisements, Product-Reviews.net reports, leaving fans wondering if the rumor was false.

"We've already seen hints of its release when a Norwegian website had the GTA V for PC pre-order, which stated a March 18, 2014 release. However, it wasn't long before the listing was pulled," the website writes.

"This is not an admittance that the PC version is coming, but it does imply that they are planning some sort of announcement."

GTA 5 on Xbox 360 was the most played game based on gameplay hours in the 30 days after launch, VG247.com reports, leaving many fans wondering if the same accomplishment cane be made with the game's PC release date version.

The gap between GTA 5 and its next competitor is much, much greater than that between Ghosts and third place, Battlefield 4 PC, and fifth place, Dota 2 PC, VG347.com also writes.

Rockstar Games also directed a gamer to their newswire after they were asked about Grand Theft Auto 5's PC release date.

But the developer has not yet mentioned if there will be a computer version of the gameor when it would come out.

"After dozens of fans tweeted at the gaming site, Rockstar finally responded with: "Keep an eye out for info on that on our newswire page," the Latin Times wrote.
