Samsung Galaxy S5 Rumors: Alleged Upcoming Flagship Dubbed G900F Shows Up In Benchmarking App, Boasts Snapdragon 800 SoC, 3GB RAM, 16MP Snapper, Runs On Android KitKat

Of all the Samsung Galaxy S5 rumors recently, this might be something that provides near-accurate information about the upcoming device.

In a report by GSM Arena, the rumored Samsung flagship allegedly made its way to the famous AnTuTu benchmarking app. Seemingly disguised with model number G900F, the mysterious handset was tested and run on the benchmark app.

If you are currently searching for Samsung Galaxy S5 rumors, the G900F allegedly has similar features to the recently released Galaxy J in Japan. It boasts a Snapdragon 800 chipset, a higher 2.5GHz krait 400 processor, and a powerful 3GB RAM.

Other notable specs include a 16-megapixel camera, which is same as the previous Galaxy S4 Zoom's primary snapper. Whether that does not automatically lead to OIS or optical image stabilization, it means one thing - the Korean manufacturer is trying to take on other cameraphones in the business such as Nokia's recent Lumia flagships, as well as Sony's Xperia lineup with Exmor sensors.

Interestingly though, the G900F only logged in 1080 pixels of screen resolution, a far cry from the 2K display which other Samsung Galaxy S5 rumors have been propagating the past few weeks.

To top it off, the rumored Galaxy S5 allegedly runs on Android KitKat so if you are one of those who want to try the latest Android version on the fastest Droid available, then getting this phone should be a no-brainer once it's released.

Samsung Galaxy S5 rumors claim that the new Galaxy S flagship will be announced during the first quarter of 2014.
