Android 4.3 Jelly Bean Release Date Now Available To Verizon's Galaxy Note 2, Brings Galaxy Gear Support, Camera Improvements, Etc.

Android 4.3 Jelly Bean has had its release date several months back for this year's flagships. And as more new phones are getting updated to Android KitKat, it just fair for former flagships to get their share of the spotlight at least before they become obsolete devices.

In a report by Android Authority, Samsung and Verizon has released the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean release date to its Galaxy Note 2, which was released more than a year ago.

Like most Samsung handsets which received the update, Android 4.3 Jelly Bean would provide a number of improvements, changes and new features.

Some of these include the following:

  • camera improvements
  • highly-improved multi-window mode
  • improved software for PenUp
  • Knox support
  • Galaxy Gear support
  • many more

If you own a Samsung Galaxy Note 2 from Verizon and you're already eager to upgrade to Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, you may want to check out this detail. You can only update your device using the carrier's Upgrade Assistant - a computer software which is available for both Mac and Windows. Even if your computer does not have the software, it can easily be downloaded and used alongside your device.

But if you can still wait for a few more days for the OTA release, then do so.

Samsung has been doing well lately, especially in updating its past flagships. Let us just hope more devices would get not only Android 4.3 Jelly Bean but version 4.4 KitKat as well.
