Upcoming Nokia Phones 2014: Handset Code-Named 'Moneypenny' Could Be Lumia 630 Or 635, Would Be The First Dual-SIM Windows Phone

In case you still can't get enough of upcoming Nokia phones in 2014 despite the nearing buyout of Microsoft, then you may want to know that the model dubbed Moneypenny could be a dual-SIM enabled smartphone.

There have been lots of hype for Nokia as the year ends, due to a number of devices which it would allegedly release early next year, probably during the World Mobile Congress in Barcelona.

One of these is Moneypenny, which according to notorious leakster EV Leaks, could be the upcoming Nokia Lumia 630 or 635 depending on configuration. If we take a look at the naming for Nokia models in recent years, the Lumia 520, 620, 720, 820, 920, and 1020 all belong to the second generation of WP-powered handsets.

Meanwhile, third-generation phones include models such as the Lumia 925, 625 and 525. As a result, this could mean that the Lumia 630 or 635 could be just a few weeks, if not days, away!

According to a report by Gizbot, the alleged Nokia Moneypenny would be the first Windows Phone 8.1 that has dual-SIM support, one key feature that is immensely popular in emergin Asian markets such as China and India.

In addition, EV Leaks also mentioned that another Asha phone might be underway, though it has not revealed anything aside from the supposed branding - 'Nokia Spinel - Asha 230'.

In spite getting bought by Microsoft early next year, the Finnish manufacturer is still poised to develop upcoming Nokia phones in 2014. Stay tuned for more details.
