Prince Harry, Girlfriend Cressida Bonas Split Apart This Christmas: ‘Not Appropriate’ For Dancer To Join Royal Family Until Wedding

Prince Harry and his girlfriend Cressida Bonas will be split apart this Christmas. Sources report that it would be "inappropriate" for Cressida Bonas to join Prince Harry and the royal family for Christmas until a wedding occurs.

Prince Harry and the royal family will spend Christmas at the Queen's Sandringham estate. It was previously believed that his girlfriend Cressida Bonas would join the royal family and her boyfriend for the traditional Boxing Day shoot on the Norfolk estate, but a source says this is no longer true.

"Cressida will be with her family for Christmas," one of her close friends told the Telegraph.

A courtier added that until a wedding happens for Prince Harry and his girlfriend Cressida, she won't be around for the holidays.

"His Royal Highness knows that it would not be appropriate for Miss Bonas to join the Royal family for Christmas until they are a married couple," the courtier told the Telegraph.

Though dance student Cressy has visited Sandringham twice, both visits took place when the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh were not present.

Prince Harry has been away for all of December on his charity trek to the South Pole, so he must be eager to make an effort to see his girlfriend for the holidays, the Telegraph reports.

Another friend of Cressida's said: "Harry will see her before he goes to Sandringham and after. They have all the time in the world."

Prince Harry, 28, and Cressida, 24, have been dating since early 2012. Rumors that a royal wedding may come for the pair next year are still buzzing, but we'll have to wait and see if Prince Harry uses the holidays as a perfect opportunity to propose!
