iPhone 5s, 5c Release Date For China Mobile Finalized, To Hit The World's Largest Network On January 17th

The iPhone 5s, 5c release date was way back in September, and the two phones have since toured across the globe. But now the question for a release date in China's largest network is finally answered.

According to a report from GSM Arena, Apple's latest iPhones will make its way to China Mobile and its 700 million subscribers on January 17th next year.

That may be a bit far off from the leaked date which was supposedly on the 18th this month, but nevertheless at least the devices will really be reaching China's shores by next year.

The report says subscribers may already pre-order from China Mobile, and the phone will ship in less than a month. Both of the iPhones will also offer LTE connectivity, which the network carrier has recently launched for China.

As the world's largest smartphone market, China is a great opportunity for Apple to expand its influence both in the high-end and midrange price levels. But even before the official launch, China Mobile has already reported that around 40 million of its subscribers are already using the unlocked version of the new iPhones.

We'll see if this iPhone launch in China would break sales records for the Cupertino company once more.
