Justin Bieber's ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez posted a picture on Instagram on Saturday with a caption mentioning that she's "thankful for the future" just after canceling her tour in Australia and a few days after the "Heartbreaker" singer announced his possible retirement.

"I'm the happiest I've been in a while," she wrote in a photo caption of her cuddling with her baby sister.

"So blessed and thankful for the future, for release and to finally be happy for those I loved."

The post left many fans wondering if she was considering a retirement herself.

Justin Bieber has been focusing his Twitter posts on the countdown to the release of his "Believe" movie and mentioned during a radio interview that he's retiring.

In a short video clip filmed during an interview at the Power 106 station Tuesday morning, he says, "Um, I'm actually retiring, man," EOnline.com reports.

His reps had no comment, but a source told E! News, "Of course it's not true," the website also reports.

Justin Bieber released a sneak peak of his "Believe" trailer and some say it discusses his love and subsequent break up with ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez.

When asked if he's ever been in love, he softly replies, "Of course I've been in love. I think being in love is the most powerful thing," HollywoodLife.com writes.
