Selena Gomez posted a racy, topless photo of herself on Instagram with a Christmas-themed message, leaving many fans wondering if she was trying to boost Justin Bieber's jealousy following their break up.

"Merry Christmas!! I am beyond thankful for my family, my friends and YOU. Each of you have made me incredibly happy and I only want to continue to grow with you!," she captioned the photo.

Earlier this week, she posted a picture on Instagram on Saturday holding her baby sister and mentioning that she's "thankful for the future" just after canceling her tour in Australia.

"I'm the happiest I've been in a while," she wrote in a photo caption.

"So blessed and thankful for the future, for release and to finally be happy for those I loved."

The picture caption left many fans wondering if she was considering retirement.

Last week, she snapped a photo of herself on Instagram holding a mysterious red rose, giving many the impression it was a gift from Justin Bieber after their break up.

She also posted an Instagram photo with former Wizards of Waverly Place co-star David Henrie, who as long rumored to have a crush on the "Slow Down" singer.

David Henrie received a lot of attention in November for a Twitter post mentioning that Selena Gomez was "amazing" and that he is "so proud" of her.
