Samsung Galaxy S5 Rumors: New Droid's AMOLED Display Allegedly Enters Mass Production, Packs 2560 x 1330 Resolution

There have been a lot of disappointing Samsung Galaxy S5 rumors lately, two of which claims the new flagship would not have a metal body and a curved display. However, development is allegedly still on going, or so says a Korean publication.

According to DDaily, its sources confirmed that the upcoming Galaxy S5 will pack an impressive AMOLED display with 2560 x 1440 resolution, and a pixel density of 560. Only one phone has the same display resolution, Vivo's Xplay 3s. In addition, the report also says Samsung would use the same diamond pixel arrangement that the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy S4 have.

Aside from allegedly confirming the display details of the Galaxy S5, the sources also claim that mass production for these displays have already begun. However, there are no details whether development of the actual device is already under way.

As the Mobile World Congress and Consumer Electronics Show approach, we may see more Samsung Galaxy S5 rumors and details. Just remember to take every news report with a pinch of salt as nothing has yet to be made official by the Korean manufacturer.
