For people who can't get enough of the Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 edition)'s screen, you may be pleased the the manufacturer is already working on the Samsung Galaxy Note Pro.

For those who have not yet read about this slate, it is a rumored Android tablet with a 12.2" LCD display with a whopping 2560 x 1660 resolution. In a report by Android Authority, a prototype of the said device was allegedly showcased to some Samsung employees, which might explain the leaked image of the tablet a few days ago.

According to all the rumors about the 12.2-inch tablet, the Note Pro would boast a 2.4GHz quad-core processor, 3GB of RAM and Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box.

The rumored tablet would also get a huge 9,500mAh battery, the biggest in any Samsung tablet so far. In an industry that sometimes values battery more than performance, the Galaxy Note Pro's battery life would surely be a welcomed treat.

Lastly, the upcoming Android tablet is said to be announced at the CES event in 2014.

Meanwhile, Apple is also reported to be working on a 12.9" iPad which has similar screen resolution and monster specs as well. We'll have to wait until Q2 next year to find out if it is able to match with the Samsung Galaxy Note Pro.
