As "The Americans" fans await season 2, a premiere date and a new trailer has debuted, foreshadowing what's to come on the FX hit series.

As confirmed by TV guide, "The Americans" season 2 will have a premiere date on Wednesday, February 26 at 10/9c.

Returning cast members include Keri Russell, Matthew Rhys, Noah Emmerich, Holly Taylor, Keidrich Sellati, Annet Mahendru, Alison Wright, and Susan Misner.

In addition to a premiere date, a new trailer has been unveiled of "The Americans" season 2, foreshadowing a particularly dangerous path for Paige, Phillip and Elizabeth's daughter.

At a PaleyFest panel over the summer, the cast and creator of "The Americans" took the time to address the storyline with Paige and what's in store for season 2.

"I think we can say as much as, last season was the exploration of a marriage [and the news season] would draw a big concentric circle" to include Paige and Henry.

"That moment with Paige is a hint to some of the direction we will go."

And while Margo Martindale will not be prominently featured on "The Americans" season 2 due to her commitments to "The Millers," actress Aime Carrero will join the cast as a Sandinista freedom fighter.
