See The First 15 Minutes Of Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster As Square Enix Speculates On FF X-3 Possibility

As Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster hits the market in Japan, fans are not only getting nostalgic, but hearing rumors of a potential Final Fantasy X-3.

In Japan, Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster hit shelves on December 26 for the PS Vita and PS3. And now, fans can check out the first 15 minutes of the high definition glory in the video below:

While Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster has not reached North America quite yet, we know that it will arrive for both the Vita and the PS3, as originally promised.

According to Time Magazine, Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster will be released in North America on March 18, 2014. In addition, Square Enix will release a collector's edition exclusive to the Square Enix online store.

It will come with a 40-page artbook, a Blu-Ray music disc of the soundtrack, and five lithographs of character and game art.

But most importantly, the release of Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster has prompted a rumor that Final Fantasy X-3 could be in the works sometime in the future.

It began with a quote by scenario writer Kazushige Nojima, who worked on Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2, discussing Final Fantasy X-3 if there is enough demand for Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster.

"If there's enough demand, then we may possibly see new developments," he said according to Siliconera.

"I would personally like to see a sequel like X-3."
