Manchester City will face off against rival Crystal Palace on Saturday, placing two of the English Premier League's closely followed teams against each other.
Manchester City, coming out of a 2-1 victory over Liverpool, is expected to be the favorite in the match.
Manchester City Manager Manuel Pellegrini said the team's win over the best team in the Premiere League helps him with title chances, the Daily Mail reports.
"They were top of the table before the match so if they won, they would be four points ahead of our team," he said, according to the site.
"I am very happy with the response because it is not easy when you face such a difficult team, especially on the counter-attack when you are losing 1-0."
Crystal Palace, coming out of 1-0 win over Aston Villa, is expected to be the underdog in the match.
Crystal Palace Manager Tony Pulis said he is delighted with his team's win over Aston Villa, SkySports.com reports.
"Really we needed that result because we'd let ourselves down with the home performance against Newcastle last week so it was nice to bounce back," he said, according to the site.
"I think we had the more clear-cut chances and the better opportunities and the keeper's made a wonderful save off Bannan - how he touches that onto the post, I don't know."
