Singer Tiger JK has achieved the feat of grabbing first place on popular Brazil music site.

A popular Brazilian music website ‘BAH’ held a vote for K-Pop music on which Tiger JK placed top of the list on March 29.

Tiger JK took first place with his 8th album title song ‘Monster’ which achieved an unusual album sale at that time for a hip hop album.

The singer surpassed Girls’ Generation, TVXQ, Super Junior, SHINee and Big Bang proving Tiger JK’s popularity in Brazil.

Tiger JK’s popularity in Brazil has been heralded as he and his wife Yoon Mirae was previously mentioned on Brazil’s famous TV show program ‘Leitura Dinamica’ on Rede TV in November 2011 as the Asian hip hop stars.

This is especially meaningful as Tiger JK hasn’t done any special promotions in Brazil and even has a fan club and Tiger JK communicated with Brazil fans through Twitter.
