Minecraft PS4 release date might have already been revealed.

Most recently, the game company responsible for porting the hit sandbox title to consoles revealed that upcoming versions will be available at some point in 2014. According to Examiner, citing a report on Nintendo Enthusiast, 4J Studios shared a more specific timeframe regarding Minecraft PS4 release date, as well as launch of Xbox One and PS Vita versions.

The post on Nintendo Enthusiast reads, "The projected release for all three systems is summer 2014."

4J Studios originally revealed Minecraft: PS4 Edition as a launch title for Sony's latest game console. But as the expected Minecraft PS4 release date, November 15, nears, the game company announced that Minecraft PS4 would not be launch game anymore. Also that time, 4J Studios did not reveal a Minecraft PS4 release date .

As for more Minecraft updates, last week, Patch 1.02 for Minecraft PS3 was released in North America, bringing in fixes for audio, chat and other issues found on the game.

Moreover, for those who are waiting for the Wii U version of Minecraft, unfortunately, the game createor, Markus "Notch" Persson, revealed that there is no current plan to port the game on the Nintendo console. He told via Twitter post that he is not aware of release plans for Minecraft Wii U version.

In one of his recent tweets, Notch also said, "I agree a Wii U version would make sense, btw. The only reason for no current plans is we've got too much work already. I <3 Nintendo ."

Expect more Minecraft PS4 release date news to emerge, as well as updates to available versions in the coming weeks and months.
