‘Game Of Thrones’ Season 4 Spoilers: Army ‘Like You’ve Never Seen’ Coming After Spring 2014 Premiere Date

"Game of Thrones" season 4 spoilers reveal that an army like one we've never seen before on "Game of Thrones" is coming to our TV screens after the spring 2014 premiere date.

Making Game of Thrones has posted a new blog post by Cat Taylor, revealing a few spoiler details about the filming of an important battle scene in season 4 of "Game of Thrones"

"You've never seen an army like this on 'Game of Thrones,'" Taylor wrote.

Taylor describes returning to an area near a quarry "just north of Belfast," where the Battle of Blackwater was filmed and directed by Neil Marshall. This upcoming "Game of Thrones" season 4 battle scene is also being directed by Marshall, and Taylor teases a huge, exciting battle coming after the spring 2014 premiere date.

"The planning of this battle has been taking place for months but unlike any other episode of Season 4, Neil's will be filmed in a very concentrated burst. In fact, for many on the show - including most of the cast and the other directors, their work was complete before filming on this episode had even begun," Taylor wrote.

"Throughout our shooting schedule, our crew and specialist departments are on their toes, but perhaps never more so than this season. This episode has kept the teams in stunts, armoury, prosthetics, SFX and VFX particularly busy, with camera tests and stunt rehearsals happening for several weeks beforehand," she continued.

In an interview with IFTN, Marshall gave a few details and spoilers about what his season 4 episode contains, and it sounds like an episode you shouldn't miss.

"What I can say is that it's a huge episode - a huge production. As far as I know the episode hasn't been named yet but someone online suggested it might be called 'Castle Black' but all I know is that it's called episode nine! It's kind of the same as 'Blackwater', in a sense, in that these episodes are bigger than most of my films! They're on the same scale as something like 'Centurion', if not bigger. We have huge sets that they build - in the case of 'Blackwater' it was a section of King's Landing," Marshall said.
