‘Parks And Recreation’ Season 6: Rashida Jones Getting A New ‘Dramedy-Noir’ HBO Show About A Nail Salon

After "Parks and Recreation" season 6 comes to a close, Rashida Jones is leaving "Parks and Recreation" for a new HBO show about a nail salon.

Deadline reports that after Rashida Jones' exit from "Parks and Recreation" season 6 as her character Ann Perkins, she will star in a new HBO series "Claws." The show, which will be produced by Jones, is described as a "midnight-dark workplace dramedy-noir about a nail salon in Florida and the strange, dangerous women who work there."

As we previously reported, Rashida Jones and Rob Lowe (who plays Chris Traeger) will be leaving "Parks and Recreation" after season 6.

But according to Amy Poehler, who plays Leslie Knope, this is not the last we will see of Rob and Rashida on "Parks and Rec."

"Knowing our show, no one ever really leaves Pawnee -- we still call people back that did stuff in the first and second season, so, I'm certain that Rob and Rashida will make their way back to Pawnee as many times as we can drag them," Poehler told press at a recent event.

Yet some speculate that Rob and Rashida's exit may signal the end of "Parks and Recreation."

"To some extent, with the exception of one or two seasons, we never really know if we're coming back," Poehler said in an interview with Paper magazine. "I know how this season ends -- it could be an ending for the show, or it could be an ending for the season."

"I think I know how the show ends," she added, The Huffington Post reports.

"Parks & Recreation" returns to NBC January 9, 2014.
