‘Fight Club 2’ Release Date Is 2016? Sequel To Focus On Tyler Durden 10 Years After His Creation Of The Mayhem-Filled Club

Fans of Chuck Palahnuik's graphic novel 'Fight Club' were thrilled when the psychological story was turned into a movie in 1996. There will be more reasons for them to be thrilled because the 'Fight Club' movie is scheduled to have a sequel in 2016.

According to Palahnuik, 'Fight Club 2' will still revolve around Tyler Durden and the club that he created. However, the timeline of 'Fight Club 2' takes place 10 years after Durden created the club.

"It will likely be a series of books that update the story 10 years after the seeming end of Tyler Durden. Nowadays, Tyler is telling the story, lurking inside Jack, and ready to launch a come-back. Jack is oblivious. Marla is bored. Their marriage has run aground on the rocky coastline of middle-aged suburban boredom. It's only when their little boy disappears, kidnapped byTyler, that Jack is dragged back into the world of Mayhem," says the 51-year-old novelist. Palahnuik did not give further details with regards to the film's twists.

Another good news is that Brad Pitt and Edward Norton will still play their previous roles. Since the two actors are in the middle of several commitments, filming of 'Fight Club 2' will possibly start in 2015.

According to reports, the stars would be able to reprise their roles. As of the moment, they are still caught up in their other commitments, which mean "Fight Club 2" would be finished by 2016 if they will start filming in 2015, particularly lead actors Pitt and Norton.
