After the arrival of Gran Turismo 6 this year, the gaming industry is now looking forward to more updates regarding Gran Turismo 7 release date.

Previous reports about the game were suggesting that Gran Turismo 7 release date could happen as early as next year, according to an interview from the creator of the series, Kazunori Yamauchi.

As posted on International Business Times, citing Mirror, the CEO of Polyphony Digital, Kazunori Yamachi, said, "We don't want to take too long on Gran Turismo 7. Best-case scenario? Next year."

However, the latest reports about Gran Turismo 7 release date are now indicating that the next-gen version of the racing game may be available at some point in 2015. According to Gear Nuke, as cited by Examiner, Gran Turismo 7 release date is expected to happen in 2015 for the latest generation of gaming consoles, the PS4 and the Xbox One.

Moreover, news about Gran Turismo 7 release date suggest that the racing simulation title will launch "at the same time as when the official price for the PS4 will be dropped."

Gran Turismo 6 of Polyphony Digital is now available for the PS3. Yamauchi stated that the game studio may later port the racing simulation title to Sony PlayStation, further saying that it may evolve naturally into "Gran Turismo 7."
