Oppo N1 CyanogenMod Phone release date arrived last week.

Previously, a lot of rumors about Oppo N1 CyanogenMod Phone release date emerged online. But finally, the Oppo N1 CyanogenMod Phone is already here.

Oppo N1 CyanogenMod Phone release date was slated for December 24. Thus, on Christmas Eve, the first smartphone running a CyanogenMod OS appeared on the market. The CyanogenMod team, creators of many custom ROMs commercialized in September and partnered with Oppo, a Chinese manufacturer.

Regarding the specs of the device, Oppo N1 CyanogenMod Phone is packed with powerful features such as 1.7 Ghz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor, 206-degree rotating 13-mp camera, and a 5.9-inch 1080p screen, as posted on Android Headlines.

Moreover, the phone also comes with 16 GB of storage, a 3600 mAH battery and 2GB of RAM.

Originally, the high-end smartphone, Oppo N1 is released with the ColorOS, manufacturer's own software, on top of the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. But the Oppo N1 CyanogenMod Edition is running CM10.2 which is based on the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update. And aside from the CyanogenMod 2, Oppo N1 also has Google's CDD and CTS approval, allowing it to have access to Google Play and run Google Apps.

Moreover, as posted on International Business Times, "To complete the CyanogenMod treatment for the Oppo N1, the ROM team has released the source code and factory images for device, meaning if users wanted, they could purchase the original Oppo N1 and turn it into a CyanogenMod Edition with the official software."
