Lüc Carl, Lady Gaga's ex-boyfriend, is threatening to sue after getting wind of his negative portrayal in "Rivington Was Ours," a book written by the "Applause" singer's longtime friend Brendan Jay Sullivan.

The book is about Gaga's early years performing in the Lower East Side of New York City.

According to the  Huffington Post , in his book Sullivan, a DJ, described Carl as a "inattentive and possessive" boyfriend who tried to tell Gaga who she could and couldn't work with and/or speak to.

Furthermore, the book suggested that Gaga dyed her hair blonde for Carl. Sullivan quoted Gaga saying, "he [Carl] likes f#cking a blonde."

"Gaga told me herself that Lüc told her early in her career, ‘I hope you fail ...’," said Sullivan to Page Six of the  New York Post .

With Carl apparently not believing in her, Gaga went even harder for her dream.

Carl has already sent letters of disgust to Sullivan and HarperCollins for representing him as a "villain" in Gaga's life in "Rivington Was Ours."

Last year, Carl said being in the relationship with Gaga "was f#cking miserable." However, he also said "it wasn't her fault."
