iPad Pro Rumors: Alleged Apple Slate's 2K And 4K Display Now In Development, Also Features Eye-Tracking Technology

If you have been checking out the many iPad Pro rumors circling the Web, then you have thought that you already read everything.

You're wrong.

According to a report from Design & Trend, the upcoming Apple tablet is rumored to sport an eye-tracking technology. We don't know whether this one would be similar to that of Samsung's version, but knowing Apple, this would surely be another marketing-packed feature like the Touch ID.

In addition, Foxconn also claims that the 2K displays for the iPad Pro have already begun production, while the 4K version is also under way. If this is true, then it could prove reports that the new slate will have two release dates - one for the 2K version, and one for the 4K edition.

With this added feature, there is now one more reason why you should wait for Apple's iPad Pro. However, given the device's size, it would probably compete with other Apple devices instead of those from other brands.

The iPad Air as well as the MacBook Airs could be in danger if the Cupertino company releases the 12.9-inch slate. If Apple is able to make it lighter in spite the stunning screen and bigger battery, the iPad Air could soon be replaced by such device. Including a detachable MacBook-like keyboard on the other hand, will render the MacBook Airs useless in the long run.

So what would it be for Apple? This is one of the many questions we will answer this year.
