HTC One 2 M8 Release Date Draws Near As Alleged Specs Leaked, To Boast 5" Display, Snapdragon 800 SoC, 2GB RAM, UtraPixel Cam, Android KitKat And Sense 6.0

If you are a loyal HTC fan in spite reports of continuous sales problems, then you may still be looking forward to the HTC One 2 M8 release date, and in case you haven't heard, we may be in for a real treat from the Taiwanese manufacturer.

And as early as now, there are already alleged details about the Droid's 'preliminary' specifications.

In a tweet by notorious leakster EVLeaks, the HTC One 2 (M8) will boast a 5-inch display with Full HD (1920 x 1080p) resolution, Qualcomm's Snapdragon 800 SoC processor, 2GB of RAM, an UltraPixel rear snapper, and a 2.1MP front camera.

Other notable details include Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box, and the latest Sense 6.0 UI.

It would also be interesting to see whether the flagship will retain the Beats branding or not. During the last quarter of 2013, Beats Audio and HTC parted ways after releasing dozens of smartphones over the past two years.

Unfortunately, that's all there is as far as leaked information is concerned about the HTC One 2 M8 release date. And we may be waiting for just a few weeks or days as the CES will be held next week, while MWC is already set in February.
