Sean Penn & Chalize Theron dating rumors sparked instantaneously when the two Hollywood celebrities were spotted coming home together in a same flight following their Hawaii getaway during the New Year.

Both Oscar Winning actor and actress were seen in the beach in Hawaii with a friend cozying up. The 38-year old blond was spotted flaunting her sexy body in a skimpy bikini while the actor was surfing the beach in a Waikiki area on Oahu on December, a news reported by E!News. The rumored couple stayed in Sean Penn's Hawaii beach house together with some friends.

Seann Penn and Charlize Theron came home to Los Angeles boarding the same plane but, strategically exited the plane separately to avoid media. And on January 2, the 53-year old actor was caught leaving the "Monster" actress' home in Hollywood Hills.

"I Am Sam" actor was seen leaving Theron's house in a black pick-up truck, while Theron followed in her Lexus. While, both Hollywood A-listers knew each other for years now, this is not the first time that Senn Penn and Charlize Theron sparked dating rumors as Just Jared once reported a few years back, that they were romantically linked together when they were seen on a date dining out.

The rumored couple was first seen together back in 2010, when they were both coming from their respective break-ups with their exes. Penn was then separated with wife, Robin Wright, while Theron ended her nine year relationship with Start Townsend.

"Charlize and Sean have been friends for years," a source said. "They have been spotted out together several times in the past few years. Even when Charlize was dating Stuart [Townsend]. They both had dinner with Sean several times."

Both Penn and Thereon were spotted attending "Family Guy" creator Seth MacFarlane's holiday party last month and were also both present during his 40^th birthday celebration in October according to E! News.

"They were laughing and touchy-feely," an eyewitness said during the holiday party.

Charlize Theron was previously linked to Seth MacFarlane, but rebutted the rumors saying that they are just "friends."
