Vivo X3 Review, Specs: Thickness At Only 5.75MM Handset Is World’s Slimmest Smartphone; Bears 5-inch 720P Display, 8MP Camera & Android 4.2

Vivo X3 review, specs: The thickness of the X3 is only 5.75 mm-thick, which officially makes it the world’s slimmest smartphone. This breakthrough handset has dethroned the Huwaei Ascend P6 as world’s slimmest. The Vivo X3 has a 5-inch 720p screen, an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera and runs on Android 4.2.

Under the hood, the world’s slimmest smartphone has a 1.5Ghz quad-core MediaTek processor coupled with 1GB of RAM and has 16GB of internal storage. The smartphone has no support for memory expansion via a MicroSD card slot or the like.

GizmoChina notes that the Vivo X3 is a great phone with a clear display, slim design and some impressive specs. It’s body dimensions are 143.3mm x 71.6 mm x 5.75 mm for the blue version and 5.95mm for the white version. The Vivo X3 has a 2000 mAh battery.

According to the website, the Vivo X3’s camera effects have improved compared to the X1 and the 5-inch screen looks more reasonable and even mainstream in some respects. It also has a better audio decoder chip and even recording studio features.

The device has been on sale in China since September for the equivalent of $410. Phone Arena notes that Chinese website C-Tech said that the phone is not only razor slim but a good performer with a well-implemented “smart wake” function.
