Prince Harry, Girlfriend Cressida Bonas Split? Spend NYE, Holidays Oceans Apart; No Sign Of Wedding Coming Soon?

Prince Harry and his girlfriend Cressida Bonas seemed stronger than ever, but now it seems like a split may be coming soon, and a wedding isn't even in the picture. Prince Harry, after returning from his month-long charity trek to the South Pole, was expected to spend the holidays with his girlfriend Cressida Bonas, but instead the royal and his girlfriend spent New Year's Eve oceans apart.

According to Vanity Fair, Cressida celebrated the New Year in 2014 at an "exclusive bash" in the Caribbean on Necker Island (owned by Richard Branson - Cressida's half-sister Isabella is married to his son Sam), while Prince Harry partied at an "English country pub," The Mirror reports, at The Crooked Billet pub in Stoke Row, Berks. According to the publication, music came from a live swing band and tickets cost £70. Harry had roast chicken with bacon hash and leeks, and wished the staff a Happy New Year before he left.

As we previously reported, the Brits were taking bets on a Christmastime engagement between Prince Harry and his girlfriend Cressida Bonas, and a 2014 royal wedding.

However, the fact that Harry and Cressida spent the holidays apart suggests that their relationship may be on the rocks. Is a split coming for Harry and Cressy? One thing's for sure: there's no sign of a wedding anytime soon.

Prince Harry and the royal family spent Christmas at the Queen's Sandringham estate. It was previously believed that Cressida Bonas would join the royal family and her boyfriend for the traditional Boxing Day shoot on the Norfolk estate, but a source said this was not true.

"Cressida will be with her family for Christmas," one of her close friends told the Telegraph.

A courtier added that until a wedding happens for Prince Harry and his girlfriend Cressida, she won't be around for the holidays.

"His Royal Highness knows that it would not be appropriate for Miss Bonas to join the Royal family for Christmas until they are a married couple," the courtier told the Telegraph.

Prince Harry, 29, and Cressida, 24, have been dating since early 2012.
