Users of Samsung Galaxy Ace can now experience Android 4.4.2 KitKat update.

One of the lucky devices running Jelly Bean is now upgraded to Android 4.4.2 KitKat. Thanks to the XDA Recognized Contributor, Mardon, Samsung Galaxy Ace can now be installed with Andorid 4.4.2 KitKat update, in the form of a custom ROM, the CyanogenMod 11 or CM11.

Samsung Galaxy Ace was released by the South Korean tech manufacturer in February 2011. According to its Wikipedia page, the phone is packed with 800 MHz Qualcomm processor with Adreno 200 GPU. The model is known as Samsung Galaxy Cooper in some regions.

According to International Business Times, the CyanogenMod 11 ROM is "based on the original Android Open Source Project (AOSP), which is designed to deliver enhanced performance and reliability over stock Android for your device."
