"The Sims 3" update is currently in the works.

As cited on SimsVIP site, SimsGuruKelly has recently confirmed via Twitter post that a new "The Sims 3" update is coming. SimsGuruKelly is the lead content producer for the Sims 3 Store team, according to his Twitter profile page.

However, information about its potential release date has not been revealed yet. Check out the Twitter post below:

As for other The Sims 3 update and news, the Homecoming Set is now available at the official store of the game. Simmers who are interested to get it is in for a treat until tomorrow as the Homecoming Set for The Sims 3 is available only for 1700 Simoleans.

Accordingly to The Sims 3 Store page, the sale for the Homecoming Set, originally priced at 1900 Simoleans, ends on January 6, 2014.

There are 42 items included in the Homecoming set and as described on its page, the set "gives you everything you need to party in style with gorgeous dresses, jewelry, tuxedos, jerseys, shoes and more!"
