Halo 5 Release Date News: Microsoft Assures New Halo Game Coming To Xbox One This 2014 Despite Not Being Part Of The List Of Upcoming Titles

Halo 5 release date is still set for 2014.

As posted on Headlines And Global News, the forthcoming installment of Halo game, which is currently and tentatively dubbed as Halo 5 will still be arriving this 2014. Although Microsoft did not reveal a specific Halo 5 release date, the company assured that it will arrive to Xbox One this year. Moreover, this confirmation is made despite the game not being part of the list of Xbox One games coming this 2014.

According to UberGizmo, Rob Semsey explained via Twitter post:

"Xbox Wire today mentioned a few 2014 titles; Halo on Xbox One not listed due to official name of the next title not announced yet."

Some of the titles included in the list of 2014 Xbox One games that are set to arrive soon are Titanfall, Watch Dogs, Sunset Overdrive, Project Spark and more.

It was then followed by another tweet, which reads, "Rest assured your next Halo journey WILL begin in 2014."

Citing IGN, Halo 5 or the upcoming Halo game was teased during the E3 gaming conference that was held last year. The game had no title yet but further details about the game were revealed over time. According to 343 Industries, "Master Chief's next adventure will run at 60 frames per second and will have dedicated servers for multiplayer use."

This is not the first time for 343 Industries to release a Halo game. The company launched Halo 4 in 2012.

Moreover, it was also revealed that the Timothy Longo will lead the development of the Halo 5game. He is former creative director of 2014 games, Star Wars: Republic Commando and Tomb Raider.
