Upcoming Lenovo Tablets 2014: Lenovo's ThinkPad 8 Almost Matches Evenly With Apple's iPad Retina Mini, Costs Only $399

The year has just begun, but there are already one among many upcoming Lenovo tablets for 2014 that has arrived during the CES event in Las Vegas.

Dubbed as the ThinkPad 8, this Lenovo tablet runs on Windows 8.1 and boasts decent specs for its price range.

The 8.3-inch tablet sports a 1920 x 1080 resolution display, a 2.4GHz quad-core Intel Atom processor, a micro HDMI port, options for 3G and LTE support, and 32GB, 64GB and 128GB versions.

The Windows tablet also comes with a cover that functions similarly to the iPad mini's as it magnetically attaches to the ThinkPad 8. Once the cover is opened, the device automatically wakes up. It can also be turned into a dock that can support the 0.92-pound weight of the device.

While Lenovo's tablet does not compare to the iPad mini's Retina display, it still has a decent screen in its own right.

According to the report by The Verge, the Lenovo ThinkPad is already on sale on the manufacturer's website for only $399.
