Toyota CES 2014 Live Stream Watch Online: Toyota To Exhibit Hydrogen-Powered Fuel Cell Vehicle In This Year’s Consumer Electronics Show

The 2014 Consumer Electronics Show is set and ready for the press conferences of different tech companies in Las Vegas.

For this year, Toyota will be joining the group to reveal their latest car that is set to be in the market on 2015. Toyota will be taking up and stepping up more beyond electric cars. They are set to unveil a fuel-celled vehicle that will emit no emissions but just water vapor.

In relation to Tesla releasing purely battery-powered vehicles, the new line of Toyota vehicles will be running on hydrogen to generate electricity for the vehicle to run.

To explain in simple English, hydrogen will be pumped into a tank that would be mixed with air that would create water. The reaction that the mixture would create will be water that would eventually produce electricity. The fuel cell then will create the electricity to generate the motor of the vehicle that would then power the car to move.

"We didn't reinvent the wheel; we just reinvented everything that turns it," said Bob Carter, senior vice president of automotive operations for Toyota.

“Fuel cell electric vehicles will be in our future sooner than many people believe, and in much greater numbers than anyone expected,” Carter added.

The efficient Toyota vehicle that would be set for a reveal in the CES 2014 is said to have at least 310 miles before a fill up for the car.

The new and next generation Toyota FCV not only assures a 310-mile range between hydrogen fill-ups but also is still spacious that it can accommodate four people with a refuel time of just three minutes. This car can go over a top speed of 100 mph, and zero-to 60-mile-per-hour times are about 10 seconds.
