"Mad Men" stars Harry Hamlin and Jon Hamm probably spend a lot of time together - but when TMZ asked Harry Hamlin about Jon Hamm's bulge photos and his lack of underpants, Hamlin said the question was "inappropriate."

TMZ caught up with Harry Hamlin, who plays ad executive Jim Cutler on "Mad Men."

TMZ asked Harry: "Was it ever distracting to work with Jon Hamm because he never wears underpants?"

Hamlin responded sincerely: "I have no idea what you're talking about."

TMZ said: "This is inappropriate, huh?"

Hamlin replied: "This is about as inappropriate as it gets, and I have no idea what you're talking about!"

But we do, Harry, we do!

Jon Hamm is infamous for going without underpants on the set of "Mad Men," as well as while he's running errands around Los Angeles. Numerous photos of Jon Hamm's bulge has caused quite a frenzy on the Internet, especially among "Mad Men" fans.

Hamm isn't a huge fan of the attention his bulge is getting. E! News reports that in the March 2013 issue of Rolling Stone, he admits the photos get on his nerves.

"Most of it's tongue-in-cheek, but it is a little rude," Hamm said. "It just speaks to a broader freedom that people feel like they have - a prurience."

"They're called 'privates' for a reason," he continued. "I'm wearing pants, for f--k's sake. Lay off."

"I mean, it's not like I'm a f---king lead miner. There are harder jobs in the world," he said. "But when people feel the freedom to create Tumblr accounts about my c--k, I feel like that wasn't part of the deal."

Meanwhile, the first seven episodes of "Mad Men" season 7 will premiere in Spring 2014, and the other seven episodes will air in Spring 2015. Season 7 will be the final season for "Mad Men."
