YG Entertainment revealed new girl group that is to follow the footsteps of 2NE1 has been confirmed to be Kim Eunbi and Euna Kim. A representative of YG shared with OSEN shared that YG Yang Hyun Suk has approved the two trainees Kim Eunbi and Euna Kim whose practice clip video that was uploaded the day before to join as new members of their upcoming girl group.

YG uploaded their rendition of Sam Sparro’s ‘Black and Gold’ on their YG blog to showcase their vocal and rapping talents. The revealed video showed the girls, Kim Eunbi and Euna Kim who have improved their talents than from before since their appearance on the audition program ‘Superstar K’ second and third season respectively.

Even though they are dressed casually rather than their stage fashion still they seemed to perform with more confident than their time of audition. The video is said to have been recorded recently at YG office rehearsal room, it was recorded for the purpose to check on their talent once a week.

It is a known fact that it is difficult to be selected as YG’s trainee just like it’s difficult to pass through the eye of a needle, and let alone survive the fierce competition amongst other trainees.

Even Big Bang and 2NE1 also have passed through rigorous testing of trainees for several years and have been selected into the groups and has now grown to become top idol groups.

Kim Eunbi was previously confirmed before and with signs of Euna Kim to join as well fans is already building up excitement for the upcoming girl group.

The new girl group known as ‘YG’s version of Girls’ Generation’ is reported to have a specific clause in their contracts that prohibits members from getting plastic surgery. YG have said he thought of how it would be if pretty girls performed hip hop music, receiving inspiration to start the group.
