NBA Trade Rumors – Andrew Bynum To Indiana Pacers? After Being Waived By Chicago Bulls, Former All-Star Center Prefers Heat, Clippers Over Other Suitors

The NBA Trade Rumors about Andrew Bynum have died down. Discussing the winners and losers have begun. Andrew Bynum clearly lost $6 million, that’s for sure. But he can get another championship depending on his decision.
The Big Guy cares about winning after all! Cleveland did admit that he was in playing shape. Cavs GM Chris Grant said in a press conference (quoting Sporting News: “I think he got on the court sooner than we all thought.”
The Bulls were expected to waive him to save $ 20 million. Bulls VP John Paxson expressed how this goal to ESPN: "The fact that we get him in the deal and obviously we will waive him, it gives us tremendous financial flexibility moving forward. The thing that we are assured of in talking to [Bulls chairman] Jerry [Reinsdorf] in going through this process is that the things that we benefit from financially, we are going to, in the future, put back into this basketball team."
Now that Bynum is a free agent, teams can now sign him for any amount for the season. He has already talked about the Heat and the Clippers. Miami is a little hesitant because they already have Greg Oden, another oft injured center.
There are also talks that the Indiana Pacers are squeamish about the effect of Andrew Bynum on Miami Heat’s ceiling, so they would actually sign Bynum just to prevent the Heat from doing so. It does not sound like something Larry Bird would do, but it does make sense.

The Pacers are also title favorites and he will play back up to one of the strongest big men in the league. Unfortunately for Bynum, his reputation as a slacker who loves bowling more than basketball has preceded him. The Clippers, a team which analysts consider the perfect fit for him, may have backed out.
