Prince William Absent For Kate Middleton’s Birthday? Duchess of Cambridge Will Celebrate Turning 32 With Baby Prince George, Mother?

Prince William won't be present for most of Kate Middleton's birthday on Jan. 9. Instead, Kate Middleton will spend her birthday without husband Prince William, and with her baby Prince George as well as her mother Carole Middleton.

Kate Middleton's mother Carole came to London to shop for the 32nd birthday of her daughter, the Duchess of Cambridge. E! News notes that it is likely Kate's mother will stay in town for her birthday.

A source told E! News, "Carole came into London from Bucklebury for a shopping spree on the Kings Road...She spent about an hour and a half in Peter Jones where she was browsing and purchasing items from the Lancôme counter."

So where will Prince William be on Kate Middleton's 32nd birthday tomorrow?

According to E! News, the Duke of Cambridge is probably going to be at school for most of Thursday and therefore won't be able to spend much time with his wife. The 31-year-old traveled by train on Tuesday to the University of Cambridge's campus to begin his 10-week program.

Kensington Palace announced on Dec. 30 that William would partake in a course in agricultural management organized by the Cambridge Programme for Sustainability Leadership.

The course has been designed to help provide Prince William with "an understanding of contemporary issues affecting agricultural business and rural communities in the United Kingdom."

Looks like it'll just be Kate and her baby son Prince George and her mother Carole tomorrow!

Last year William took Kate, her parents, brother James and sister Pippa to a night out at the Royal Albert Hall to see a Cirque de Soleil show, The Daily Beast reports. Her 31st birthday came just weeks after the announcement that she and William were expecting Prince George, and she was struggling with severe morning sickness.
