Upcoming Android Phones 2014: The Hisense X1 Is a Huge 6.8" Phablet With Top-Notch Specs, Bound For the US Market In Q2

There are lots of upcoming Android phones 2014 that are being showcased at the CES in Las Vegas. And one of these devices would certainly gain its own group of fans. 

Chinese manufacturer Hisense has just unveiled its gigantic 6.8-inch phablet dubbed X1.

Packing 6.8-inches of Full HD (1080p) IPS display, this beast is certainly a looker. The Android device boasts a Snapdragon 800 processor, a 13-megapixel camera, and Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box. 

According to reports from Engadget and GSM Arena, the Droid phablet boasts a sleek but plastic-covered design to probably keep the price down. Hisense devices, especially its tablet lineup, is popular in China for its affordable pricetags. 

In the report, the Hisense X1 would first hit the Chinese market, and then arrive to US soil within Q2 this year.

There has also been rumors claiming that the manufacturer is already in talks with two US carriers which would subsidize the device's cost.
