Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson's wedding will finally take place this year after being together for three years. While no confirmed date has been announced yet, Simpson knows that 2014 will be their year to walk down the aisle.

"We don't have an actual date but we do know that we want it to be this year," says the 33-yer-old actress to 'Good Morning America'. According to the songstress-turned-fashion mogul, her two previous pregnancies halted her wedding plans. Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson got engaged in 2010 and since then, they have been blessed with 2-year-old daughter Maxwell and 6-month-old son, Ace.

Simpson likewise acknowledges her husband-to-be for not leaving her despite her previous weight gain. That time, the press had no qualms in mocking her for her weight: "I already feel like we're like an old married couple already. If he wanted to run, he could have run when I was hormonal and pregnant."

The harsh words against her body later became sources of inspiration as Simpson decided to become the spokeswoman of Weight Watchers. After giving birth to Maxwell, she lost more than 50 pounds.

Her experience likewise taught her to be more careful with hear diet when she got pregnant with Ace. "I had already been on Weight Watchers and I had already lost over 50 pounds, so I wasn't as relaxed in my eating and everything that I was with Maxwell. I was just already in a healthier regimen. I kept walking and staying active and Maxwell started walking."

Will she give her 2-year-old daughter a chance to enter Hollywood? While she did not directly answer the question, Simpson made it clear that she wanted her daughter to be safe from Tinseltown's false standards.

"I want her to look up to me and be like me. I don't want to give her any false perception of what is real and what's important. It is important to really know yourself and love yourself," says the proud mother.
