As Sword Art Online Season 2 Awaits Release Date [VIDEOS], Explore Aincrad With Hollow Fragment And Fone Games!

As "Sword Art Online" awaits its season 2 release, fans still have the chance to explore Aincrad with several upcoming video games based on the popular anime!

Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment is an upcoming PlayStation Vita RPG, and recently, a TV promo for the game was released in Japan.

In the game, Sword Art Online fans can explore the 76 cities in Aincrad and recruit new friends and party members. According to Anime News Network, iconic Sword Art Online characters like Kirito, Asuna, Lisbeth, Silica, Yui, Leafa, Shinon, and Strea will all be included in the game.

In addition, a new character named Filia will be introduced and will play an integral part in the story.

Like the anime, Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment allows players to play with up to eight people online and go questing in the Hollow Area.

The game is expected to release on April 24 in Japan, and hopefully by then, "Sword Art Online" season 2 near its release as well!

If you're an Android smartphone user, the Sword Art Online Fone interface game will also be launching soon.

Based off of the Reki Kawahara novels, Crunchyroll reports that "Sword Art Online" season 2 will revolve around the massively multiplayer online game Gun Gale Online. This chapter will focus on firearms and lightsaber-like weapons.
