K-Pop Crossover: Sailor Moon Await Remake Release Date As Sistar Turn Into Venus, Mars, Jupiter For Commercial

While 2014 is supposed to be the year of the Sailor Moon remake, K-pop girl group Sistar is taking advantage of the hype by appearing in a Sailor Moon commercial!

Recently, the four ladies of Sistar appeared in a an elaborate commercial featuring wire work and action sequences.

"The wire action was hard at first but it led to good results so we felt really good after. The song is easy to sing along to as well," said Sistar member Bora, who dressed up in a costume akin to Sailor Venus for the commercial.

Meanwhile, Hyolyn had the honor of dressing up as Sailor Moon, Soyou appeared as Sailor Mars, and Dasom as Sailor Jupiter.

For the past few months, the long expected Sailor Moon remake has experienced delays after delays, and the final release date for the reboot is sometime in January of 2014.

Back in July, a Japanese Sailor Moon flyer was translated by Miss Dream, where it reportedly confirmed that production had already begun for the remake.

In addition, it projected a release date for the remake between November 2013 and January 2014.

Since it is now January, fans are eagerly anticipating any news about the Sailor Moon remake, and perhaps even a worldwide premiere date as well.
