Upcoming Samsung Phones 2014: Galaxy Note 4 Rumored To Get 3-Sided Display, Aimed At The High-End Market
In case you are holding out on buying a new smartphone because you're waiting for upcoming Samsung phones in 2014, then your wait would be over before the year ends.
In a report by IB Times, Samsung's Executive Vice President Lee Young Hee revealed several details about the upcoming Galaxy S5 and Note 4. As for the new Galaxy S flagship, its release date could fall some time in March or April.
Meanwhile, the exec hinted that the Galaxy Note 4 could sport a 3-sided display that allows its user to view different contents at certain angles. In a report by SamMobile, the Korean manufacturer has already showcased such technology in recent events so using it in an actual device is highly possible.
In addition to the interesting 3-sided display, other details Young Hee revealed about the Galaxy Note 4 include a release date some time at the latter part of the year, probably around the time the Note 3 was launched in 2013. And just like its predecessor, the Note 4 is aimed at the high-end market.
"We are targeting consumers who want more professional use and tend to be willing to pay more for handsets", Mrs. Hee added.
