Upcoming Alcatel Phones 2014: The One Touch Hero Is A Cheaper Galaxy Note 3 Alternative That Packs A Punch

At CES in Las Vegas, a number of upcoming Alcatel phones for 2014 were launched, and one of them is the One Touch Hero.

The device is primarily aimed at the market that gets blown away by the Samsung Galaxy Note 3's specs, as well as its price. Now, they have an option to have a taste of such a powerful device minus the financial burden.

The Alcatel One Touch Hero packs a huge 6-inch IPS display with 1080p resolution, a MediaTek chipset with quad-core Cortex-A7 CPU clocked at 1.5GHz, 2GB of RAM, and a huge 3,400mAh battery, though that may not be enough for the power-hungry screen.

Also on-board is Android 4.2 Jelly Bean packed with some UI enhancements by Alcatel, including split screen multi-tasking, stylus-supported apps, and more. There is also the capacitive stylus that can be kept at one of the handset's edges.

For camera lovers, there is also the 13-megapixel shooter that is able to capture 1080p videos.

While pricing has not yet been detailed, we expect it to be several hundreds cheaper than the Galaxy note 3.
