‘Rayman Legends’ PS4, Xbox One Release Date Happening A Week Earlier Than Expected; Next-Gen Title Arriving On February 21
"Rayman Legends" PS4, Xbox One release date is happening sooner.
Ubisoft recently announced that Rayman Legends PS4, Xbox One release date will be set one week before the original launch plan.
As posted on Video Gamer, Rayman Legends PS4, Xbox One release date was previously set for February 28. However, as Ubisoft confirmed it, the next-generation title will be arriving on February 21 in the UK.
Rayman Legends, according to its Wikipedia page, is a platform game created by Ubisoft Montpellier and published by Ubisoft. Moreover, the upcoming game is the direct sequel title to the 2011 game, "Rayman Origins" and the 5th main title in the entire Rayman series. Rayman Legends is currently available for Wii U, PS3, Xbox 360 and Microsoft Windows. Rayman Legends is anticipated to arrive on Xbox One and PS4 in February 2014, which apparently will happen particularly on the 21st of the said month.
Moreover, Ubisooft did not provide any reason for changing Rayman Legends PS4, Xbox One release date to an earlier schedule. But accordingly, "it may be to avoid clashing with Square Enix's Thief." The next-generation stealth video game in which players will take the role of the master thief, Garrett, is slated to launch on February 28.
In addition to the content included on the current version of the game, Rayman Legends PS4 and Xbox One version will also bring in features specific to the console. For instance, Rayman Legends Xbox One will get 10 exclusive challenges while the PS4 version of the game will have touchpad and Remote Play functionality.
Both the PS4 and Xbox One versions Rayman Legends will bring in brand new bonus costumes, as well, as reported on New Gamer Nation.
