KARA’s single earned gold status certification for selling more than 100,000 copies in Japan. According to Recording Industry Association of Japan released today for the month of March.

The groups sixth Japanese single ‘Speed Up/Girl’s Power’ released on March 21, earned gold certification in non-Japanese single category and is currently ranking fourth on Oricon daily and weekly charts.

The album sold 21,352 copies on the first day and rising to #2 on Oricon daily chart, while selling 22,063 copies in the second day.

KARA is to begin their sold out Japan leg of their concert ‘KARASIA’ this Saturday at Yokohama Arena to Nagoya, Fukuoka, Osaka and more.
