SE7EN Wins 'Best Overseas Performer' in China [VIDEO]

Singer SE7EN was awarded the ‘Best Overseas Performer’ award in China.

YG Entertainment revealed today, “SE7EN won the ‘Best Overseas Performer’ at ‘2012 China Music Award and Asian Influential Awards’ held at Macau on April 13.”

The 16th annual award ceremony began since 1994 inviting 100 most influential Asian celebrities’ also garnered attention for previously inviting such Korean artists like Lee Byung Hun, Kim Tae Hee, and Jang Woo Hyuk.

This year’s ceremony took place at Kotai Arena in Macau Venetian Hotel with top Asian stars such as Jay Chou starring in ‘Secret’, Taiwan’s F4 member Van Ness Wu, Chinese women entertainer Karen Mok,and Japanese singer Kuraki Mai.

SE7EN invited as the only Korean artist shared his reflection of receiving the ‘Best Overseas Performer,’ “Thank you so much for this wonderful award. I will work harder to meet the Chinese fans more often.”

SE7EN performed songs ‘Better Together’ and ‘Digital Bounce’ from his mini-album heating up Kotai Arena in Macau.

The local Chinese media interviewed and covered SE7EN’s passionate performance. The performance was broadcasted live through China’s Channel V and is to be broadcasted in 30 countries including Hong Kong, Taiwan, Malaysia, and Indonesia on 60 different channels.

SE7EN is to release his new single album ‘LOVE AGAIN’ in Japan on April 25 and will hold a showcase at Tokyo, Fukuoka, Nagoya and Osaka to commemorate the release of the album in May.
