Samsung Tizen Phone Dubbed SM-Z9005 Appears In Live Photo, Rumored To Be Announced At Tech Giant's Tizen Event Next Month

Samsung has recently sent invites to its Tizen even at the MWC in Barcelona and rumor has it that the manufacturer will finally unveil its Samsung Tizen phone in the same press event as well.

Now, a live photo of what appears to be the Tizen-powered SM-9005 was leaked by notorious leakster EV Leaks

As you can see from the image, the Tizen phone appears to have a rectangular shape which seems like a mix of the Galaxy S4 and S4 Active. Codenamed as Redwood, the device is rumored to launch alongside the Tizen-powered devices which Samsung would announce at its event in February.

Previous reports of the SM-Z9005 specs include a dual-core Krait processor, 1GB of RAM, 720p resolution, and support for 4G LTE connectivity.

In the past, reports claim that the Tizen smartphone would first hit selected countries including Korea and Russia.

Let us just keep our fingers crossed that Samsung's brainchild mobile platform will finally see the light of day.
