CNBLUE’s ‘Ear Fun’ 13th United World Album Chart, ‘Sold 57,000 Copies in A Week’

CNBLUE proves their growing popularity overseas.

The rock band placed 13th on United World Chart- The Official Hitlist Album Chart with the recent third mini-album ‘Ear Fun’ in the third week of April. The album is to have reportedly the largest sales increase that week as well.

The album ‘Ear Fun’ landed the chart ranking 13th on the 15th week and now currently in the 17th week is ranked at 13th with selling over 57,000 copies just in this week.

The Media Traffic based in Germany released the ‘United World Chart’ in 1998 is calculative of weekly world sales of single and album releases in major countries.

United World Chart calculates the album sales in the United States, Japan, United Kingdom, France, Italy, Spain, Canada, the Netherlands, Australia and more total of 36 countries. The albums released in Korea are also calculated within the global album chart.

CNBLUE received much love in Korea as well selling the album in record speed surpassing 40,000 copies within three days of its release. Due to overwhelming response from fans the boys released a special limited edition of ‘Ear Fun’ which has sold out since being sold from April 10.

CNBLUE concluded their promotional activities in Korea after their final performance of ‘Hey You’ on SBS ‘Inkigayo.’
