Samsung Galaxy S5 Release Date Becomes More Exciting As AnTuTu Benchmark Reveals Alleged Specs, Include 2.5GHz Krait CPU, Snapdragon 800 And 16MP Camera

We all know that a lot of people are looking forward to the Samsung Galaxy S5 release date, but here may be more reasons why we need to get more excited.

In a report by GSM Arena, the upcoming Samsung flagship may have been running benchmark tests for some time now as details of the device appeared on the AnTuTu benchmark app database.

According to the details of the Samsung device seen on the AnTuTu benchmark, it is most likely that this is actually the Galaxy S5 hardware. Some of the alleged specs of the tested device include a quad-core Krait CPU clocked at 2.5GHz, 2GB of RAM, a Snapdragon chipset, and 16MP of camera.

In the test, the alleged Galaxy S5 has even taken the top spot, beating the scores of some of the top Android handsets today, which include the Galaxy Note 3, Xperia Z Ultra, Xiaomi Mi3, and the LG G2.

As far as these details go, we now see that if Samsung would ever release the Galaxy S5, it is bound to be a smartphone killer.

Surprisingly, AnTuTu did not detect any scanning technology as what were previously rumored such as the fingerprint sensor. Hopefully, the one used in this benchmarking app is just a prototype to test the actual speed and power of the Galaxy S5.
