There are lots of exciting upcoming Samsung phones for 2014, and by upcoming we are also referring to variations of its current devices. 

After getting a glimpse of the Black Edition of the Galaxy S4 and S4 mini a couple of days ago, the two smartphones have already been officially launched by Samsung.  

According to the report by GSM Arena, the two faux leather-covered versions of the two Samsung handsets have been officially introduced on Samsung's global website, which means the two would be released on a global scale. 

Unfortunately, that's all the details we know for now. 

While specs for the two devices would be identical to their original versions, any tech geek would surely admire the work Samsung has done to create a new look for their previous flagship, and its smaller sibling. 

After the huge success of the Galaxy Note 3, it looks like Samsung will be placing a faux leather back cover to all of its devices. While the look is certainly catchy and stylish, this strategy by the manufacturer of releasing variations of its current devices is growing old. Soon, it should find a more effective and cost-efficient way to release new handsets to the market.
