Upcoming Lenovo Phones 2014: China Gets Another Midrange Handset, Possibly With An Affordable Price Tag, Boasts 5" Screen, Quad-Core CPU

Lenovo has recently announced that it will buy phone-maker Motorola from Google as an attempt to expand its range of smartphones. Now, we could be seeing some of the last upcoming Lenovo phones this 2014 which were actually developed by the Chinese brand.

According to a recent report by GSM Arena, the phone maker has recently unveiled a brand new midrange smartphone for China's very competitive mobile market. Dubbed as the A628T, this Lenovo handset boasts mediocre specs, though that would be understandable considering the company's reputation in pricing its devices.

The Lenovo A628T packs a 5-inch display with 854 x 480 resolution, a qud-core MediaTek processor, 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal memory.

Completing the specsheet are a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash, a 2MP front cam, a microSD card slot, Androd 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box, and a 2,000mAh battery.

The phone comes with dual-SIM support which is highly popular in the Chinese market. While availability and pricing details were not yet revealed, we expect it to hit the market officially in the coming days.
