Upcoming Windows Phones 2014: 'Huron' By Samsung Confirmed To Hit Verizon Says FCC File, Alleged Specs Include 5" 1080p Display, 2GB RAM, Quad-Core CPU

There are not many upcoming Windows phones in 2014 aside from the ones manufactured by Nokia. But as the impending buyout draws even closer, people would eventually look for alternatives in the Windows Phone platform while a new Microsoft-made handset arrives.

And Samsung may be among the first brands to try making WP-powered phones once more. And one is already under way.

More than a week after appearing in the rumor mill, the WP-powered Samsung Huron has now been confirmed to arrive to Verizon in the US.

In the report by GSM Arena, an FCC filing spilled the beans for Samsung and Verizon as it showcases the Huron, otherwise known as SM-W750V.

From the previous leaked image by notorious EV Leaks, we can see that the Galaxy Huron looks a lot like the manufacturer's Galaxy phones, particularly the S3 which launched a couple of years ago.

According to rumors, the Huron may be getting similar interiors as well. Recent rumors are pointing to a 5-inch screen with Full HD display, a quad-core CPU, 2GB of RAM and a 13MP primary camera.

Neither Samsung nor Verizon have announced the handset, though we're pretty sure they are already preparing for its launch any day from now.
